BlasTech Rifle model DLT-19
The BlasTech DLT-19 "Heavy Blaster Rifle," or otherwise known as an Assault Rifle, is also commonly known as a Sandtrooper Rifle because it is favored by Sandtroopers. It is a powerful weapon that carries extra power packs and has greater range than other blaster rifles. Since the formation of the Empire the BlasTech DLT-19 has been used. During this time the DLT-19 was known as the Defender and has now been given the nickname of "The Sweeper." Older versions of the DLT-19 use a canted spotting scope, but newer versions use a top mounted scope that features manual and automatic focusing. The scopes also feature trajectory compensators that allow for ambient magnetic and force field anomiles adjusting, among others. The DLT-19 also features a folding stock that allows the handler to achieve a deadly precision when firing. The DLT-19 uses two types of energy charges:
- A 50 bolt ElectroCrystalline power cell
- A 200 bolt capacity plasma cell
As with all rifles one must always inspect the weapon for clogged barells or magazines. If a DLT-19 is fired with a severely dirty or clogged barell it may misfire or the weapon may even explode causing serious harm or even death.
