A Stream of Consciousness Poem:
I saw this guy in concert
Then I stubbed my toe and it hurt
I like to listen to him singing
And I always picture someone bringing
Me a large box, full of money
And with it I'd buy a whole bunch of honey
Then I'd go to KFC and get a whole mess of bisquits
Chase it with some alcohol, and I'll know when it hits
I'd then be pretty cool...right?
Thanks for agreeing and good night.
Yeah, sorry for that. I just felt like trying it out. Anyway, if you happen to like really good music, then hopefully you'll like this one. I think he is a very good song writer. He has a good sense of humor, and he really shows it well in his music: he's not trying to be funny or whatever, it just shows. Anyway, really cool. He has a lot of really good songs also. "How it Should be" is a really cool piano driven song. I likes it. I don't feel like talking about much more, but I will say that "No Reason" is a great acoustic song. It's all played without a pick and he does some fingerstyle stuff at the beginning: it's really cool. And I think "Lizzy" is my favorite song. It's all cool sounding guitar and everything and gets all crazy and whatnot. Cood stuff. Or Good stuff.
Stand out tracks: How it Should be (Sha Sha), Wasted and Ready, Family Tree, In Other Words, Make it up, No Reason, Lizzy, Harriet's Got a Song.
Word, fo sheazy. I like him 'cause it's cool and it's just rock. He's not trying to make a statement of love lost or polictics or anything. Just straight ahead rock: something you never see anymore.
