Funny story about me and this album: I lost it. That's the story. I thought it was hilarious. Anyway, I like this album a whole lot. This was the first Dashboard album I ever purchased. It was pretty good. I like it. At first, you see, I didn't really like the whole bass & drumbs thing, but after a while, and this was several months mind you, I decided that I really liked it a whole lot. I think Mike Marsh, that's they drummer, is very good. A friend of mine who is freakin' awesome at drums (Cody Marshall) said he was the best drummer he's ever seen live. So that has to be saying something. This album covers the usual Dashboard topics of girls, with just a little bit of material talking about girls, also. I like it, you know why. If you don't, then you should. If you think I'm stupid, then you should. You know why? Because I am stupid. That's why. When I get mad I punch things until I draw blood. I don't know what my problem is, but I'm sure it's a problem. I think it's depression, but what the heck can I do about that? Nothing, so I'll just live with it. I wish, speaking of living, that I wasn't living. That would be great, because I wouldn't have to be in my life. I hope it happens soon. Either that or something cool happen to me. That's about it. I've seen Dashboard Confessional three times in concert. One time, I was actually even with a girl. And if you are planning on going to a concert of his soon, I would recommend that you go with a girl. It's way better that way. I hate it when people crowd my space. For instance, say I'm sitting in the computer lab and there are several computers open, and people sit right the fuck beside me. That really bothers the hell out of me. Okay, I like this album, it has several freakin' awesome songs. Even though Chris has a full band backing him now, it's still pretty plain and everything. That's what I like. And I like Dashboard a whole freakin' lot. Especially with a girl. That's all. Laters.
Stand out tracks: The Brilliant Dance, Screaming Infidelities, The Best Deceptions, This Ruined Puzzle, Saints and Sailors, The Good Fight, Standard Lines, Again I Go Unnoticed, The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most, This Bitter Pill.
I actually like every song on the album. Especially This Ruined Puzzle. Very good stuff.
