Music » Dashboard Confessional » The Summers Kiss EP
I bought this album at the first Dashboard Confessional concert I was ever at. It wasn't even supposed to go on sale for a month or so, but I snagged a copy. That was cool. Then I listened to it and freakin' hated it. That's fo sheazy. But then I forced myself to listen to it later, and I realized that I like the new versions of all the songs better than their original. 'Cause that's all he did. He just redid four of his older songs. But the songs are better, he slows some of them down and whatnot, but I think his version of Ender Will Save Us All is freakin' brilliant. It completely captures what they sound like live. Freakin' awesome. With the building distortion in the background, and then it explodes at the end with Chris screaming the rest of the lyrics. Freakin' great. Seriously. I really like that song. A lot. That's about all.
Stand out tracks: Living In Your Letters, The Sharp Hint of New Tears, Turpentine Chaser, Ender Will Save Us All.
All redone, but still cool.
