Jimmy Eat World - Bleed AmericanThis album was acquired by myself the day it went on sale, but I didn't even know it. Well, I knew it, but I didn't plan it that way. See, I like James Eat World a lot, and I had boughten Clarity the day it came out, but I had just happened to go to el CD store and was looking around, and I saw that they had a new album, and I was all like, weird, cause I have been wanting them to make a new album forever, and now they did. And I was all happy, and I remember being amazingly excited about it. Other than that, I still like the album. One more thing about the first stuff: I remember reading in magazines and stuff, and way in the back, they reviewed Bleed American. That made me soo happy, cause this is my band, you know? And then I remember seeing that it made it onto the Billboard 100, and I was like, holy crap, this is it, they've made it. And I thought that was about as far as they got and stuff, but then like, six months later, they released The Middle, and that made them really big. I love it. And I told this one girl that I worked with to get the album, like a few days after I bought it, and then she went back to college, and I saw her a few months ago, and she said something about how she really likes Jimmy Eat World now, and it was all because of me, because I told her to buy this album from a band that she had never heard of. That was great. Anyway, this album is a very poppy album. I'm not too sure if I like it a whole bunch, because of that, but it is still a great album. Maybe it's because I love Jimmy Eat World, but I really don't think so. I push all of their albums on everyone I know, and sometimes it works. That's cool. And I like how they always spend a whole bunch of time in the studio, but on this album, they didn't at all. That's cool. But I like before also.

Stand out tracks: Bleed American, A Praise Chorus, The Middle, Your House, Sweetness, Hear You Me, If You Don't Don't, Get It Faster, Cautioners, The Authority Song, My Sundown.

I actually like this album a lot, even though I sort of talked it down. Keep in mind I've liked Jimmy for several years.
