The amazingly weird section about why I like Radiohead? What? I don't even know what I'm doing. I started off with a question and then I answered that with a question. Even I am amazingly confused. Either way, maybe that is a good way to start off my section on Radiohead, because they are also weird/confusing. This album took several listens before I could actually say that I really liked a lot. Then after that it just sort of moved into my Top 20. I don't know. I like it. It is a very trippy sort of album, and it has essentially no guitar, and it pretty much all synth, or synth-like sounds, but Radiohead are masters at making something cool out of something new. I really like it. The other thing I love about them is that they are probably right up there with the Beatles and Pink Floyd in how much detail they put into their songs. If you listen to this album with headphones, you will notice all kinds of crap, its really cool. I really like it. I also like their guitarist. Well, they have three, but I like the lead guitarist, Jonny Greenwood. He's just soo good. He is my third favorite guitarist playing today. After Mike Einziger of Incubus and Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine/Audio Slave. Either way. Freakin' awesome. And Thom Yorke is such a great lead singer. He is amazingly influential to soo many lead singers, because he is so variable. That's all for that.
Stand out tracks: Everything in it's Right Place, The National Anthem, How to Disappear Completely, Optomistic, Idioteque, Motion Picture Soundtrack.
One thing about why I didn't have OK Computer here instead: I couldn't tell you. I like both of them a whole lot, and my favorite is whatever one I've listened to last. So I picked Kid A just because everyone else would have picked OK Computer. Plus I think I might possibly like it better maybe possibly.
