Music » The Beatles » Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Okay, here goes. I've been obsessed with the Beatles since I was in second grade. I've read about them, and listened to their music and all that crap since then. I really like this album an amazinly large amount. It used to be my favorite album ever, but then I realized that I liked Clarity better. Either way, I really like it. I could listen to this album hundreds of times, probably in a row, and not really get tired of it. I think the reason for that is that the songs are all so different. And not only that, they seem to perfectly fit right where they are on the album. If you think about it, the album's progression is seamless. Flawless. Each song perfectly flows into the next, almost as if the next song is just and extension of its predecessor. I could only dream to be that brilliant. I had the great opportunity to see Paul McCartney in concert, and he played a few songs off of this album, even though a single was never released from the album. It was awesome, I would encourage anyone who likes music to see him. It was one of the best concerts I've ever seen. Okay, enough about that. Buy the album. If you buy one album ever, get this one. It's just that good. And it's so diverse that various people with various musical tastes could find at least one song they like. The music ranges from British Invasion to pop to classical to Indian, to psychedelic to Vaudeville. It's amazing.
Stand out tracks: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, With A Little Help From My Friends, Lucy In the Sky with Diamonds, Getting Better, Fixing a Hole, She's Leaving Home, Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite, Within You Without You, When I'm Sixty-Four, Lovely Rita, Good Morning Good Morning, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise), A Day In the Life
Amazing.
