CONGO REVIEW

A group of people go in search for lost colleagues and ancient civilisations but run into a group of evil gorillas. Or something. This film is a bit mix and match. It is riddled with predictable dialogue but but the meaty laser (always a good thing in my opinion) makes up for it. The special effects are okay and Ernie Hudson plays it cool as usual, however, Tim Curry is annoying, as is Amy the gorilla (Amy. Hate. Ugly. Man.) but some of the set pieces, although taken from things like Aliens, Predator and Jurassic Park, are enjoyable.
