ESCAPE FROM LA REVIEW

Okay, I didn't see all of this piece of celluloid crap, but I thought I didn't really have to. John Carpenter really wanted to remake the original but failed miserably. The special effects are some of the poorest I have ever seen and the unfortunate thing is that they are used constantly! The action scenes are lame and poorly shot and a great cast is wasted on weak dialogue and a flimsy idea. There is a shortage of good things to say about this terrible, terrible attempt at an action sci-fi flick. Do not ever feel tempted to rent out this shite.
