The story of my friends

Diana - (Maid of Honor)

What can I say, I'm lucky because not only is Diana my cousin, she's also my best friend. She has been there through thick and thin. She knows all my secrets, is a shoulder to cry on and my partner in crime. No matter the time or the place, she will also be there in a heartbeat when I need her. She even sat through a couple of foreign movies I had to watch for my film class!!

Jessica

I met Jes in second grade and she has been an awesome friend ever since. We shared great times together in grade school and in high school, especially Senior Week in the Bahamas!  Jes and I were always together and people started confusing our names. People would call me Jes and I would just answer and she would do the same when people would call her Stef. The funny thing is, we both went to different colleges and one day, someone called her Stef and me Jes. We just couldn't escape each other. But if people want to compare me to her, it is truly a compliment.

Julie

Every group of friends has a "MOM" and that's Julie. She always on time, tries to keep us punctual, is always ready to pitch in and takes care of us when we go out. She even sews!! Need I say more. I met Julie through Diana. They were roommates at one time in college and we have stayed close ever since.

Jolene

I met Jolene two years ago. My firm hired her after she completed her MBA. Our phone interview lasted over an hour. It took place on a Saturday. I remember my mom asking if I was on the phone with Jes and I said, "No, this girl I hope to hire for our office." She was great to talk with. It was as if she was already a good friend. Day after day, Jolene heard all the "Kyle stories", because she started working at my company the day after Kyle and I met. She was an awesome friend and confidant and I could discuss any problem with her. Although we no longer work together and she is a couple of states away, I'm lucky to have worked with such a great person, who I now call friend.

Kimberly

When Kimberly and I first met, we absolutely couldn't stand each other. We fought constantly, mainly because we are so much alike!! Kimberly is like my little sister. We did facials on each other and shopped together. She's an excellent dancer and teaches dance to children while going to college. Kimberly was always the hard-working entrepreneur. We lost touch for a while (my fault), but I'm glad to have her back in my life

Diane

Diane is Kyle's sister. I was nervous when I first met her because Kyle said that she didn't like any of his previous girlfriends, but I passed with flying colors (call it psychic). We don't see each other often. She and her husband are busy with their two little boys, but when we do get together we always have a great time.  Last summer we spent the week together in Nags Head, North Carolina and we look forward to doing more things together. She gave me a photo album of Kyle growing up. She really cares for Kyle in that "big sister" way and I'll be honored to have her as a sister-in-law.
