Dorothy's Page
This is Dorothy. She was the wife of John; the
Mother of Robin, Mike and Kim; the grandmother of
Stephanie, Jody, Brian, Heather, Amy and Angie. She
was also the great-grandmother to Jordan, Natalie,
Harleigh and Alyssa. She didn't get to see the newest
precious additions to our family, McKayla, Aidan, Shawn, Hannah,
Blake, and Trinity. She passed away on March 20, 2000. We
miss her so much. She was such a wonderful woman. This is my
tribute to her. We all love you!!!
This is a poem a wrote for my Grandma.
In Memory Of My Grandma, Dorothy Helen Thompson
It's been a year since you were called away,
I still find myself wanting to call you every day.
I'm still watching the shows you had to see,
And I can still hear you yelling at that ol' tv.
Natalie still talks about you and sometimes cries herself to sleep,
I sometimes sit and wonder why you we couldn't keep.
I know we will all be reunited someday,
And I can't wait until I'm called away.
I'm glad you don't have to deal with this cold, cruel world anymore,
I know you are happy with Grandpa, in Heaven, I'm sure.
We still miss and love you still,
And hope that you know we always will.
