Computing index HTML GUIDE

This HTML guide is an introductory guide to writing files onto the internet.
It is aimed at those who have little or no knowledge of programming and have no experience of writing HTML.

The guide is split into two sections

An introduction to writing web files (pages 1 & 2)
This explains what HTML is and how you can place files containing HTML onto the internet for all to see.

An introduction to HTML tags (pages 3 to 8)
The second part of the course slowly introduces you to the most essential and useful tags in HTML.
Each section of tags comes with an example file that you can play with, giving you the chance to get to grips with the tag's abilities.
This should give you a good idea of what is possible with the HTML language and where its limitations lie.

NOTE: this guide is an introductory course, not a reference listing of HTML tags. The HTML language is frequently updated and extended. It is impossible, for me at least, to keep track of all HTML tags and their attributes.
For further information on HTML see my resources links page.
