9. Blackout Day Party

Spent some time helping with some computer stuff for a professor at the University

Thu - went to

unphoto : the Friends of the Earth (FOE) party "blackout day" to celebrate the solstice.

A candle lit dinner without electricity part of a protest against Bushes idea to solve Americas current electricity problems by building more enviroment damaging power plants ie if we can cut our power use we cut pollution

Sat - walked around Yarra Park, then went up to the nearby Children's farm for the Solstice Bonfire (not so exciting)

Sun -

unphoto : helping with a treeplanting project in Yarra Park

walked up the Yarra and Merri Creek to CERES

unphoto : Greyhound Pub in St Kilda a country music group so bad they're good.
