9. Northern Coromandel
I had hoped to go up to Karuna Falls, but it was always very busy. So I decided to go to Moehau Community , with the help from Pete of another community Mahana Moehau ..again beautiful setting
hundreds of acres of regenerating
bush with a river and swimming hollow on the property and beach at the gate, National park with mountain, Kiwis and giant Kauri next door.
Mostly simple weekend houses tucked away around the bush. Though a small working farm and 8 families and a pot luck meal on Monday.
We were based in the farm house.
