Q: What is a 'CORREY' chapter?
A: A correspondence, or 'correy' chapter, simply means that all discussion is done through corresponces like email, chatrooms and the web. Because everything is on-line, there are no pesky dues to pay, no monthly meeting to attend. So that means, if you check your email (and I know you do) you can either delete, or reply depending upon how interesting you find the topic thread. The chapter discussions are up to you, to everyone. If you want to talk about the show, movies, music, costumes, jokes... whatever you like that's Trek (or semi Trek, sci/fi related) - the round table is open!

A: No, you do not *HAVE* to join STARFLEET to play with us. We have members who just want to chat and others who have joined STARFLEET International.

Q: OK, so what exactly would be involved with joining Starfleet? The $$ isn't a problem; but I'd be interested to know what the time commitment is.
A: The commitment to STARFLEET is very small. You don't have to do anything except give them $$ for your individual membership and then they snail mail you a membership card, a membership packet full of all KINDS of goodies, such as a membership handbook and a bi-monthly newsletter/mini-magazine. A: We use "Roberts Rules" to keep our sessions togther, and we also request that everyone follow the "Officers Code of Conduct".

A: Right now we are in the process of setting up promotion points, however, we have a list of ranks currently used by STARFLEET.

A: Since we are a 'correy' chapter, we do not have meetings. HOWEVER, there are many local, regional and Fleet level functions that many of the crew attends.
