ROMANTIC INTERLUDE

My pulse quickens
Beads of perspiration form
My body feels as if it is on fire
But it is just the heat of my desire.

My body trembles as I retrace firm, smooth, skin beneath my hands
I squirm in my chair as lustful feelings stir within my body
As I close my eyes, pressures build which beg for release
And I am not yet ready for them to decrease.

His distinctive smell envelops me as he nibbles the nape of my neck
My body arches and twists towards his well-muscled one
And my excitement builds as he caresses my breast
When he leans over to kiss me, it is upon my urgent request

Delighting in the taste of his tongue playing with mine
I seem to melt even though his fingers electrify
My head begins to whirl and spin
As I yearn for him from within.

Crazed, we tear at each other's bodies
My moans and impassioned movements
Do considerably much more than intimate
What I very desperately want to be my fate.

Our eyes and minds connect as he lays me down on the office rug
I hold my breath in anticipation of his next move
When the world itself seems to quake
And suddenly I find that I'm wide awake.

I hear voices and laughter as I pick myself up from the floor
My hair is disheveled and my passion is left unspent
I quickly realize that brief trysts aren't always what they seem
Since it appears I've just awakened from an equisitively vivid dream.
