My Motorized, Four Wheeled Conveyances: Past & Present
Glad you've come to see this most stellar spot on the web. Yeah right! Grab the poison of your choice, have a seat and check out my various bombs and other occasionally interesting rides. I have owned about sixty or so cars over the last thirteen years and have never initially spent over a grand for any of them. I have owned some true pieces of shit, but only briefly and they won't be seen here!
I must blame my family for my car hang-up! When I was very small and eating dinner in a high-chair my sisters would con me into the idea that a spoonful of some detestable food was some cool car and my mouth was a tunnel through which it would drive. Lima beans come to mind! I ate Corvettes, Capris, Porsches, Javelins etc. on a regular basis.
There is one car I haven't owned and rates as my all time favorite; one I will own before my death. A German made Capri, imported from '70-'77. One of my sisters bought a new one in '74, this car left a great impression on me. I loved its looks, it emitted fine sounds and was unlike any other family member's car at the time. She drove the piss out of it!
Here are the cars I have pictures of, someday I'll get my grubby clamps on a scanner and include many other vehicles of my yore.

Son of the Capri? My former '86 Merkur XR4Ti, one of Ford's more sophisticated offerings! Quick, good handling and comfortable. Another fun one to get parts for though. I sold it to my brother a few years ago.
The '82 Volvo 245 GLT. A classy grocery getter with as many lives as a common cat. The license plate on the front, I found in the middle of a road, I paid $10 for the lights and the 242GT air dam was $20 at a junk yard! I sold this one to my nephew. It's for sale, no reverse now!
My '78 International Scout II. I owned this for nearly thirteen years, it was MY car. I sold it a few weeks ago to a kid who's been busy beating the shit out of it! Sad topic!
'84 Peugeot 505S Wagon. If you dismiss a "Pug" as junk, you've never driven or owned one. The French build fine cars, they just don't like selling parts to Americans! A fine touring car and a great hauler. Styled by Pinin Farina!
A '79 Dodge Diplomat coupe which I have since sold. Click on it to see it's four on the floor shifter.
Here is a '71 Lincoln Continental Coupe, not a Mk. III. 365 horsepower, posi-trcation, leather, but still no 8-Track.This fine old gal had covered just 31,000 miles. I sold her to a couple who didn't give her the love she needed. I watched her deteriorate on the side of the street until someone hit her big, and until then, unmolested rear end. I then believe she became another city tow-in lot story.  I hope someone releazed what she was and rescued her rather than sell her for scrap or derby her. She wasn't that kind of girl! The '77 Datsun 280Z was a trashy little trollop who took and took but was never the least bit grateful!
Not your receptionist's wussy little Grand Am! A '73 Pontiac Grand Am with a very strong 400 motor and A/C. I always liked these cars and this one was on the cheaps. A little tatty, somewhat debeaked and quite rusty but only 88k.
