September 24, 2004 - I'm now currently working on a site for my friend who asked me to make a site for his crush hahaha. September 15, 2004 - not bloggin lately, well, nobody reads this anyway hehe. by the way, our band got in the auditions for the urbandub front act thing weeeeeeee. the gig will be on october 2. Bit busy doing some more band sites for friends, www.elgnisllits.tk is now up. check it out, its for a starting punk rock act. they're composed of nursing students. i'm now workin on another band site for a friend again.
September 4, 2004 - Yesterday We joined an audition again, My #6 guitar string broke on the intro of our first song hehe. but i still figured out a way to pull it off and the set went okay. I guess. After the gig we went to starmart and got drunk hehe.
August 28, 2004 - Not blogging lately. It's because I have run out of internet cards, I hope someone would give me some of those hacked accounts, someone??...I saw my crush again yesterday when we had our audition for this gig. Our set did not go well, My guitar volume was too low, the other guitar players cord went blackout, the vocalists mic shut down for a few minutes, the bongos mic wasn't turned on....I guess we fucked up pretty bad hehe. well, shit happens. I've been playing in bands for almost 8 years now and I understand that sometimes you just get bad setups. I was not that disappointed I just don't know about the other bandmates.

August 19, 2004 - I feel a bit better today, this day, for the first time I felt like a professional web designer hehe. I finally tasted the monetary inflow. even though it was a small job. I feel hope that this is what I can do for a living. Of course I would rather get hired by a big company but until that time comes, I hope I get more freelance jobs.
This afternoon I watched Aliens V.S. Predator and hands down it was kickass. Just go and see it.
August 18, 2004 - As my life go by, I feel like I'm getting more confused, I try to read on buddha and some philosophy but its not making it better (well the buddha thing is at least helping me be creative). What is this life about? Why is love shitty? Why is my back hurting? like a sack of rice is on top of it.
August 14, 2004 - Nope, we didn't get into the finals for the battle of the bands. But we went there last night anyway to see the show and support other bands. Of course this involved drinking and getting in the moshpit hehe. Congrats to the winning band Diet of Wormz.
August 8, 2004 - Last night our band (paepek-hombre) joined and audition for a battle of the bands competition called Droptuned. We registered kinda late so we were up for number 22 slot out of 25 bands. the whole night was a blast. The moshpit was never cleared the whole time (go iloilo!!!!!), And I must admit that there were really though competitions, these kids are really getting it on. And then our set came, suddenly the rain came pouring, at first I felt dissapointed (ang malas!!) but luckily there was a cover for the band and the moshpit. So we got it on, and played our asses off. I don't know if we got in yet, but its ok if we don't hehehe, noooooooooo...

ka cute pa hehehe..........July 31, 2004 - Well, what am I up to? I'm now doing a bit of web design and photoshop graphics job for my friends for free or some snacks whatever hehe, Who knows, maybe someone will see their site, then maybe I can get some work with pay :-]. Anyway its fun for me, besides I have nothing else to do......My band has decided that we should come up with our own stuff, so we had a meeting and tried to write (compose) some songs, the result was some really weird stuff hehe. Our band members have really defferent influences that sometimes its hard to decide what direction we are going. Me and the vocalist like tribal metal stuff, the other guitar player is into punk, the bass player is into progressive and the drummer...I don't know what he likes. anyway, wer'e headed for the south american direction hehehe.
July 24, 2004 - Today is the day someone destined to be a bum was born hehe. well I'm not crazy bout b-days, It does'nt really make me happy or anything. I just had dinner with my family, including cuzins, titos and titas in a quite fancy resto. I'm still pretty bummed though coz I didn't get to go to the concert last night. the venue was already full and they would not let anyone in anymore. It wasn't much about seeing Bamboo. I wanted to see local bands more and get into the moshpit. well that's life, bad luck sucks.....
July 20, 2004 - Still no news about that band contest. well, my band site is up. its www.paepek-hombre.tk . I hope you check it out. I did some graphics job on that one and my bandmates did the contents and other stuff. That band is going to open for Bamboo this coming july 23. but sadly I won't be playing guitar in that gig coz of some sched conflict in practice with my other band. anyway I'll try to play with them on their next gig hehe.
July 11, 2004 - I'm sick, I have this fever and the mucous from my nose just keep on flowing. Yesterday, we recorded our demo tape for the muziklaban battle of the bands contest, (I hope we get chosen to play in the elimination). anyway, while waiting for our turn in the recording session I was already feeling bad but We played anyway. Iv'e been having fever on and off these past few weeks now. I hope im not dying or anything hehe.
July 7, 2004 - obviously, I have come up with a new layout again. The light colored thing is not working for me anymore. I'm trying to reflect my layout design now with what I'm feeling at the moment. This dark layout I think is self explanatory....Im in a rut. things are not working for me lately....now, this layout, It's pretty confusing, I just slapped some photos and used some grungy brushes over a black backround, I retained the buddha thing coz I pretty much like it hehe. then I discovered this new technique in photoshop while experimenting with the gradient tool. using it in combination with layer blending options is what created this sunburst style picture collage in the center. pretty ugly. :-]. ps - that ancient symbol type paragraph just under the logo is a love letter hehe. and the frst person who can figure out its true meaning will get.........pissed of?? hahahaha.
July 5, 2004 - This week started to be wrong. these first two days has been bad for me. first, sunday: the guitar I have been using (which is not mine) broke, one screw from the tuning pegs was lost and I have to replace it. then this day.....It's too bad to explain.
July 4, 2004 - I noticed something today while eating my dinner. Why do some people prefer to eat with their hands even though they have spoon and fork, some say "the food tastes better", some "its easier to use hands", I think this attitude is like the filipino crab mentality, don't you notice that countries with "hand eating" culture rarely become progressive? look at us, and India. Utensil using countries like America and Japan on the other hand use tools like spoon and chopsticks and look where they are. Now it's not such a mystery why our country is still in it's condition. We have this mentality where we say like "why would I try something new when I'm already comfortable with what I'm doing" thing. only here in the phil. that farmers would rather use carabaos rather than tractors.
