Stone Cold Steve Austin is arguably the greatest WWF Superstar ever to set foot in a WWF ring. A six-time WWF Federation Champion, Austin has highlighted three Wrestlemania main events, won three Royal Rumble events, and has had many memorable matches, quite possibly more than any other WWF Superstar. Austin's era of stardom began in 1996 at King of the Ring, when Austin created the phrase, "Austin: 3:16", which means, "I just whipped your ass!" He would win his first Federation Championship at the 1998 Wrestlemania, 14, with help from Boxer Mike Tyson. He also endured the "Austin vs. McMahon" feud, another memorable encounter between the head honcho and his head Superstar. After returning to the ring in 2001, after a career threatening injury in 1999, Steve Austin rose to the top of the ladder once again, besting The Rock at Wrestlemania X-7 infront of his fellow Texans at the Reliant Astrodome for the WWF Title.
