STONE AND FRIDAY (Robin David Ross Glasson and Shari J Otim) are a brother-sister/husband-wife duo (don't let the surnames put you off, they honestly are) from Ipanema. They enjoy curling, playing chess, golfing together, and
obviously making music. They are both 64, and write crazy music.
STONE AND FRIDAY have had more than their fair share of different drummers, (including a 40-year-old man, a drum machine and a snowman), and have found a suitable one. For now... Heh, watch yur back Gav...
STONE AND FRIDAY's main influences are no longer the
Moldy Peaches and
The Lemonheads, due to a massive genre change that came about when they found a distortion pedal and a drummer. They now insist they play psychedelic punk, and their main influences are
80's Matchbox B-Line Disaster,
Mudhoney and some psychedelia bands that are un-spellable,
but we all know they sound more like a kind of Linkin Park/Meatloaf/Britney Spears/Uncle Bob Touched Me hybrid.
