Ive gone by Wormy a long time. If you are wondering, i like to be adressed by "Wormy" online, unless you know me from 'reality' or you are chatting with me and one of my 'reality' friends. But i dont like being called Stormy, VVormy, or Worm. Dont ask me why, i just find it annoying.

Ahhh, so you wanna hear the orgin of my marvelous nickname huh? Well it all starts about 6 years ago, before i had a website, before i could use a computer (good anyways), before you were born (if your under 6 years old)

Theres a old veido game, i dont know if youve heard of it... Its called "Worms" All it is, is these little crappy drawn worms jump around shotting each other with guns. So fun! Anyways, you get to name your team of worms. My brother and I would name them special names, like Wormanator (Remember, i havn't ever even heard of starcraft yet) and Arnold-Swartsaworm. So my brother named one of his, Worm Eater" and thats how it all started.

Well, then somthing came along to us. The Internet. And 2 other thing caught our intrest... A game, Warcraft II, (simalar to Starcraft, but more mudane) and a website The Zone. Well i think im going to have to explain how these two go together, therefore i will use another paragraph.

Warcraft is an multi-player game! The Zone is a website where you can play warcraft 2 with others! So my brother picked Worm Eater as a screen name for the zone, im not positive why, but he did. So i used this same name, because i was too nieve to understand how to pick my own. Let me try to explain how the gaming goes on: You go into a website chatroom, that has about 100 game rooms in it. You can enter a game room, or create a new one, (by going into an empty game room) when a game is in play, you are not allowed into that game room. So when you get in a game room, and you have 2-8 players, (or somthing) you start the game. By the host (game creator) pushing the lanch button, it sends you to the Warcraft II main screen. From there you click Multi-player, and you choose another name. This name can be whatever you want, you can change it, itll be your name untill the game is over, your Zone login name is unimportant.

The game continues, so forth and so on, but thats also unimportant. You see, people started calling me worm at first, and i had a stroke of guiness. (Which isnt ushall for me) Wormy. Wormy! Wormy will be my name!

Yeah, i know, it didnt work out at first, but oh well. Wormy was kept, through the new system "Battle.Net" It was the online gaming system for Starcraft, Diablo, and now Diablo II, and the updated Warcraft II. All blizzard games. Well the name wormy was taken, (i never figured out by whom, though i tried) so i took the name VVormy. With the Starcraft font, it look very simalar to Wormy. Well, actully, before that, when i played Diablo, i went by ~Fire_Storm~ but oh well. Fire storm is where i got stormywormy, matter-o-factly. I also used that. Untill the guy who had Wormy as a name lost it! It was great! I got the name Wormy! and i still use it! (even though i rarly play viedo games anymore, i got the name and you dont! HAHA!)

I feel so special. (:

Well since then ive been called wormy at home too, mostly as a joke. I seem to take more of a liking to the worms i find in the yard. i draw worms all over my homework assignments and if one of those drawings get ripped in half i nearly burst out in tears. (for reals i 'pretend' to cry as a joke) then of course if i see a worm doing anything or on anything i get obsessed with it. And i refuse to disect any worms to this day :) im obsessed much.

ADDED JULY 25, 2001:

If youve ever seen dumb and dumber in the begining they explain how the two wack jobs are going to make a petstore called 'weve got worms!' with worm farms in them, now that is seriously a good idea and maybe somday ill own a shop like that.

id also like to say that a certain cartoon show by the name of 'spongebob' has stolen my idea. NOT only did they take my idea of a worm named wormy, but theyre worm drawing looked sooo much like the one that i draw on everything (and everyone) plus, like one of my aim buddy icon ideas, where the worm turns into a butterfly...on the show, they did that. And i reassure you that i was the original creator of these brillant ideas and i feel it is nessary to sue the fox network company.

well im slowly converting my nickname to a simalar one, WormyWyrm has been adopted into my email adress, and aim sn. Id also like to mention other nicknames i have come by: SquirmyWormy, HornyWormy, GermyWormy, and DerbyWormy
