Check Out My Big Brother's Rods
Well, we have been to the strip a few times and went a few rounds.

I added a set of Halibrand rear wheels, take a look at them.

But, the last time we raced,
Strange Brew slowed a little each pass until it ran better than a tenth off the dial and I was unable to get around the Mustang in the other lane. (And I love whooping those 5.0's)  When I took the Oberg oil filter apart for inspection we found flakes of copper.

NOT GOOD!
So we are going to be down for a while and will use the time to do some long over due fixing up on the dragster.  New body, fresh paint.  We hope to back in action in the spring.  We found some 13 to 1 slugs, we will have to punch it to 4". That should make it 182 c.i.d.  More cubes more comp.  Sounds good to me Check back later for up dates.
Tony is progressing well on his 1956 Healey and it should be ready to race soon.  I'll post some pics as soon as I take some.

This is Dan's newest ride.
It's  a 1954 Studebaker Coupe.
He had one as a kid, it was red where this one is blue and the price was a little less than what he paid for this one but, HEY! Who's cares? He had been looking for this gem for many years.  It has a flathead six, three on the tree, wide whites, over drive and a white interior.
Dan just picked this sweetheart up 4-21-00.
