A SECOND SCENARIO

The streaking object was a terrorist missile. Those behind the attack are not stupid; insane - but not stupid. The United States supplied weapons to Afghanistan to help them fend off the Russians. Those weapons are now in the hands of the Taliban: Those weapons were not slingshots and BB guns. The attack had been in the planning stages for years and it would wrong to presume there was no backup plan or perhaps a fifth prong in the attack. Maybe there was a guided missile fired from a ship in New York Harbor in addition to the four hijacked planes being used as missiles. Or maybe 7 WTC was also on the terrorist hit list. The terrorists would undoubtedly find sadistic delight in knowing it was an American missile that crumbled the building. Floors 9 and 10 of 7 WTC were occupied by the New York office of the Secret Service (where the fire was as seen in a prior photo on the CIA page.)  7 WTC also housed the New York station of the Central Intelligence Agency, which handled the counter-terrorism functions of the CIA.  Osama Bin-Laden was a contact agent for the CIA.  The world of the CIA, the KGB and the like - the world of espionage -  is riddled with spies and double agents. It’s entirely possible - in a deeply ironic way - that the CIA was subversively hit - in keeping with the “cloak and dagger” aspect of that community. It’s generally agreed that the four targets of the four hijacked jets were the Two Towers, the White House and the Congressional Building. The Pentagon was hit instead of the White House because the hijacking pilot could not see the White House, and the Pentagon was the alternative choice. Congress was spared only because the terrorists were thwarted over Pennsylvania. The terrorists attacked symbols of the United States: The Twin Towers represented the vast economic, capitalistic clout of the U.S.; The White House is the symbol of the power of the U.S.; and the Pentagon represents the war machine. On the world stage, the CIA is the clandestine wing of the U.S. and the terrorists know it. The CIA station could have been a “secret” target to send a clear message to those in "The Company" that even the clandestine activities of the United States can be hit. In any event, the CIA's counter-terrorist activities were seriously disrupted by the falling of 7 WTC. However, I don't believe that the Taliban is capable of flying a jet equipped with a sophisticated cruise missile halfway around the world, then return to Afghanistan without being spotted. Not very many countries have such fancy weaponry. Among those that do is the United Arab Emirates, which contracted with a collaborating French/British firm (Matra and British Airways Dynamics) in November 1998, to supply the UAE with stealth missiles to arm 63 Mirage 2000-9 aircraft. The missile, called the Black Shaheen, can fly at nearly the speed of sound and is capable of attacking hardened targets (e.g. bunkers) from a distance of roughly 200 miles.  (More on the Black Shaheen on the next page.) It's been said that Osama bin Laden has friends in governmental high places, most notably in Saudi Arabia and in the United Arab Emirates. Of the 19 men identified as the hijackers, fifteen were from Saudi Arabia, two from the United Arab Emirates, one was Lebanese and one Egyptian. (wire services on 11-23-01).

Pertinent to the above scenario:

Here are two excerpts from two Reuters News stories on Saturday December 8, 2001 -- GAZA (Reuters) - Israeli helicopter gunships struck a Palestinian government compound in the southern Gaza Strip (news - web sites) on Saturday, the latest retaliation by Israel for mortar attacks on Jewish settlements and a wave of suicide bombings last weekend.  The pre-dawn missile attack devastated the Rafah offices of the Palestinian intelligence services and Force 17, Arafat's bodyguard unit. From the second Reuters report on the same day: Earlier, Israeli helicopter gunships carried out raids in the Gaza Strip - the latest in a week-long campaign aimed at forcing the Palestinian Authority to do more to rein in militants. Nine rockets fired from Apache helicopters over the town of Rafah ploughed into buildings belonging to three different security organisations - intelligence, military intelligence and Yasser Arafat's personal bodyguard Force 17. Note: CNN, the BBC and other news sources also carried the stories.

You've probably already made the WTC connection that leaps out from the Reuters reports -- The targets were the same as in the WTC attack: The ninth and tenth floors of 7 WTC housed the Secret Service, which is the U.S. President's bodyguard unit; and 7 WTC was home to the New York office of the Central Intelligence Agency, the arm of the CIA that investigates terrorist activities. No concrete conclusions can be drawn from the similarities at this point, but it's safe to say that similar minds are at work, if not a single organization behind both attacks (the WTC and Gaza Strip).

A THIRD SCENARIO

The mysterious, streaking object could be nothing more than a weird thing that happens with video cameras. However, I've looked at thousands of photos and video captures, and perhaps ten to fifteen videos of the attack on the South Tower.  Of all those images, I've only seen the weird dots on the two images you've seen. If dots were common, then the manufacturers of video equipment and film would have a major problem on their hands -- fashion models would appear to have big warts on their faces. I've never seen such dots and streaking objects on any image other than the photos posted on this website. On this site you've seen a strange object above the Twin Towers from four different angles, and of course, from four different cameras. It has been suggested that I should post other video captures showing the object. I'd like to do that, but the fact is, there are very few suitable videos available. For those who have never been to Manhattan, walking down a street is like being in a canyon surrounded by cliffs that are all at least 40 stories high. (See the second picture on the "Wallpaper Page.")  Even if someone was a block away from the South Tower and had a camera, they couldn't see the Trade Center because of a mountainous building blocking their view.  So the videos that are available are, for the most part, shot from a distance, such as from Brooklyn or New Jersey.  And then the angle has to be perfect: Since the object rushed toward the towers from a Southerly direction and was on the East side of the black and gray clouds of smoke, then cameras on the West side of the smoke (New Jersey) couldn't capture the object in flight because of those clouds. I've seen a video of the attack on the South Tower that was shot from many miles away. In the first frames of that video, the Towers were quite small - about 1/4 inch wide in a frame 6 inches wide. But then, when the hijacked jet smashed into the South Tower, the camera operator zoomed in and the Tower then filled the frame. But by that time, it was too late - the object had vanished from view. At the instant the second jet crashed into the South Tower, other videos were recording close-up shots of the smoke pouring from the North Tower. Since their field of view was so limited, they missed the initial impact of that second jet, thus missing the streaking object. When they zoomed out to capture the exploding event, again, it was too late to have captured the object on film. But, there were four cameras that were in the "proper" places to record the object -- and you've seen what they recorded. Dots and streaking shadows don't randomly appear. If they did, why are there no dots and ghostly missiles in other photos depicting other subjects?  AND, the shadow/dots appeared then disappeared in four different cameras at the same time. That's a long way from the realm of coincidence. For those who don't live in New York, how do you know that the Twin Towers crumbled?  Because you've seen the videos?  You've seen photographs?   Because you've seen the pictures on the internet? Well, you've seen videos and pics on this site too.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT CAMERA ANGLES

In this image from the Washington Post, one can see why any close-up video shot from the West side of the towers (the right side of the pic) would be unable to capture the dot in the smoke.  To take a picture from the South, one would have to be in New York Harbor. That leaves North and East of the Towers as suitable locations to shoot a video. And there's about one or two seconds to capture the object on film. If a camera operator had zoomed in on the smoke pouring from the North tower, he would have missed the object. If he had zoomed out to capture the entire scene, then the view would be too far away to catch small details. In short, accidental perfection is hard to come by. But we've seen a strange object in two camera views from the East, and in two more camera views from the North and one shot from the West. You've already seen the picture on the left, but a larger version.  If you look very close, the dot is visible in the picture. Can you see it?  I'm guessing that unless you have a very good monitor, you can't spot it immediately. Grainy videos shot from a distance have the same difficulty, and if they weren't aimed at the exact proper location, they wouldn't capture the object at all.
