Maps For flights and transportation we recommend talking to your travel agent or visiting a travel website. The rates do vary from time to time, so be sure to check back often.

Flights:
The closest international airport to the hotel is in San Jose. We recommend searching an internet travel site for flights to San Jose, Costa Rica. If you're flying from Vancouver (or anywhere else close to the US border) make sure you search from Seattle (or the nearest US airport) since they seem to be much cheaper. Also, be sure to look at different dates since the price can vary from day to day.

Travelling from the airport to the hotel:
There are various options for getting from the San Jose airport to the resort you choose to stay at. The hotels operate shuttles and will pick you up for a fee; you could rent a car and drive yourself; you could hire a taxi (I will try to find out more about rates); or you could catch the local tourist bus that drops people off at each of the hotels on the route. Once we know when people are arriving, if we find that many people will be arriving together (as there are only so many flights from North America into San Jose everyday) we would also likely be able to book our own private shuttle for our group. Be sure to keep us posted about your booking details and we will determine if this is a viable option.

Car Rental:
Your best bet for renting a car is to book through a travel website. You can book cars from various companies from either San Jose or Jaco.
