WELCOME TO THE PARISH !

Parish Registration

Are you Registered ??? Please do not take for granted that you are registered in the Parish just because you attend Mass here.  If we have no record of your Parish Membership, it could be quite embarrassing to us or you or your family when someone wishes to make wedding plans, have a baby baptized, or need a sponsorship form certification if you have been asked to serve as a sponsor for baptism or confirmation.  Please fill out a Parish Census Form.  Forms may be found at the entrance to the Church.  Forms are also available from the Rectory which may be contacted between 8 am and 4 pm during the week at 272-7118. If you are new in the area, be sure to register at the RECTORY after any Weekend Mass or pick up a Registration Form at the entrance of the Church.   Please fill out the Parish Registration/Census Form and either drop it in the Collection Basket or mail it to St. Thomas Rectory, 65 Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence, RI  02909.   For further information,  please call the Rectory at (401) 272-7118  during the week (8 am - 4 pm).

Baptism

Parents must be members of the Parish and attend Mass weekly for at least three months before their child can be baptized.  Parents and Godparents must attend the required classes.

Marriage

Couples should call the Rectory one year before the Marriage Date desired.
