To make racing more competitive race cars are graded into groups or classes. Each class has to conform to        specific rules and regulations regarding build specification, engine size, age etc.    Unless you have a definite class or type of car you want to race in mind, you have to choose a race formula or class.     There are lots of choices so go along to your local track to watch, volunteer for track duties (get in free  this way), ask questions do anything and GET INVOLVED..
