Mimi wo Sumaseba follows the life of Tsukishima Shizuku, an ordinary girl in every aspect and with a great obsession in reading. One day, she notices that all the books she had borrowed out from the local library had the name "Amasawa" before hers. Intrigued, she begins to wonder what kind of person he is, and so begins her journey within herself in search of hope, love, inspiration and the road to self-discovery.
