I'm Michael Warren. I'm 20 years old, and I reside in the sleepy city of Townsville... no, wait, that's not right...
I live in the not-so-sleepy city of Liverpool, in the United Kingdom. It's a fairly dreary place, with not a lot to do for a young geek person of intelligence. So, I mostly keep to myself, with my computer, and my writing. I'm currently doing a four-year course in Astrophysics (MPhys) at the University of Liverpool, and in my spare time (which is precious little these days) I am active in a number of fandoms online. My numerous aliases include littlexander, DarkHorizon, and seaWolf, or variations thereof.
What's that? You want to know more? Surely not. I'm not that interesting.
OK. My main passion in terms of 'creativity' is scriptwriting. It's something that seems to flow from me better than prose, poetry, lyrics or any other form of writing. I find it much easier to write and think in terms of dialogue and description in that manner. I don't consider myself a 'great' writer, although people have said my work is good (well... they have used words like 'outstanding', 'masterpiece', and others of a similar superlative nature... *g*), and I usually get positive responses to it.
Oh, yes, the *g* is something you may have to get used to. It stands for *grin*, ie :D. I started using it after joining the Bronze: Beta, a Buffy posting board, where it is common terminology, and it's kind of stuck ever since, which is a little offputting for people who don't know what it means...

Outside of the Internet, in that hell that is the Real World, I am a keen actor and director. While I was at secondary school (I attended Merchant Taylors' School from 1995 to 2002) I performed in over a dozen plays, anthologies and musicals, of varying sizes and genres, including Macbeth, Grease, and Jesus Christ Superstar. My final outing was in last year's musical, Fame, which also saw me in the role of Assistant Director. You will be able to see images of some of my appearences in the 'See' section.
