Home :: About Me
About me :- Currently I am living in my small and beautiful room at Patel Hall of residence. Here I am living with some really close friends of mine in same wing. I have been living in this room for last two years and have a lot of precious moments and memories attached to it. Here I am really enjoying my living and studies. I am originally from a small village near Sambalpur, which is situated at the western part of Orissa. I have grown up in a rural background far from the rush and run of city-life. I have thoroughly enjoyed the bliss of green and pure environment, the simple living style of rural people. I am from a lower-middle class of family. My father is a farmer. My mother is a good housewife and a brilliant homemaker. I have a small brother who is in class twelve . I have done my schooling up to class X in a small rural school near my village. Then I went to GM College , Sambalpur, one of the best college in Orissa, for class XI and XII. Finally I have come IIT Kharagpur to do my BTech after qualifying in IIT-JEE. My hobbies?.......Hmmm... Swimming, Water polo, Programming, Making my Home Page, going to gym, and to small extend listening to music and watching movies. Swimming....It's my life. I knew swimming before I went for class I. I spend around 1-2 hours a day in swimming pool. My favorite stroke is Back-stroke. I have a keen interest in Water-polo. During winter when swimming pool is closed I usually go for light exercise like jogging or go to gym for half an hour. Besides I spend some time in my computer in checking, replying and sending e-mails. I love watching Cricket, especially when India is batting. I also love programming and learning programming languages. Currently I am planning to put comprehensive tutorial on Evolutionary Algorithms. (......I know it's a huge task).....If anyone is interested in helping in this regards please mail me at x_scn@yahoo.co.in . Also I love to listen hindi songs and watching hindi movies. I have a strong interest in Embedded system , VLSI designing . Recently after doing Genetic algorithm course I have developed a strong desire to know about various classes of evolutionary algorithms, soft computing tools and artificial intelligence.
