"We all enjoy the madness 'cause we know we're going to fade away" - Millenium (Robbie Williams)

In between work and rest, there comes a small gap in the time-space continuum which the idle mind is left clueless as to how to best utilise. Most people, myself included, get involved in trivial tasks that we collectively call "hobbies". For me, my greatest passion since I was a child is reading novels, biographies and technical journals. My current favourite authors are Frederick Forsythe and Harold Robbins. The 2 best novels that I have read and would recommend to anyone are "The Day Of The Jackal" by Frederick Forsythe and "A Stone For Danny Fisher" by Harold Robbins. Also, a honourable mention to the sci-fi author Isaac Asimov whom I used to read voraciously in my early days. His "Foundation" series of novels is among the best series of books I have read. Among biographies, besides Lee Iacocca's biography, the one book that has influenced me a lot is John Sculley's "Odyssey: Pepsi to Apple".

Among other interests, I like to listen to music. My favourite singer is George Michael. I am a member of his biggest fanclub PlanetGeorge. The other singers I like are Robbie Williams, Sting, Tears For Fears and the Pet Shop Boys.

I also like travelling and visiting new places. I also used to play the guitar at some point in time, though I never got to complete my musical education.

With regard to professional interests, I am interested in learning and working on the latest Internet technologies. I am also quite interested in the software quality field, and am interested in learning more about the different aspects of it in addition to what I have already learnt. In particular, I am interested in Watts Humphrey's Personal Software Process (PSP).
