When I first started diving in the UK I thought that it would be more or less the same with what I used to dive in the Red Sea.
How wrong I was!!! One of the main differences that I came across was the cost of renting the required kit the following table
shows a rough estimate of diving costs in Saudi and UK.

OK so far it was easy. Now I have to bore you with long and complicated arithmetics!!!!
If $1=3.75 S.R. (Saudi Riyals that is) and £1=$2
then 75 SR become $27 or £13. Now how does 13 compares to 75???
I call it 5.5 times more!!! Not bad eh????
Diving in the UK is FUN!!!

Needless to say of course that by now I have bought All of my kit because
renting is Ridicilusly Expensive :)
