Well, first of all, yes, Five Iron is breaking up. If you want to see their letter to their fans about why, when and such go to their web site. If you want a quick idea of why, its basically because they feel God is calling them to other things. Five Iron has been around since 1996, when Upbeats and Beatdowns came out. (ohhhh yeah haha) So yep, thats why. They are breaking up at the end of 2003, and they are going to have 2 different albums coming out before their break-up. One is Cheeses of Nazareth and is basically a funny album of all the stuff that didnt make it on the other albums. HA...... The next one doesn't have a name yet, but will be sold on their tour named "Winners Never Quit: The Farewell Tour" which is in Mid-September to Mid-November. GOTTA CATCH A SHOW!! Anyways, that album will be more serious. So thats about it.....

Five Iron totally redid their site. Yeah I guess they like to redo it each time they come out with a new album or something..... haha Anyways, check it out, because there is a TON of really good stuff on there. They have this section for if you are going to their last show in Denver, and it has all this information on cool places to visit, such as houses they used to live in, or places that they did shows when they first started. They also say what their favorite places to eat are around that area etc.... its really cool of them, only Five Iron would do that! =D Anyways, in the Discography they also list more than just their normal albums. Its all really interesting, just go and look.

weeeeelllllll sorry I havent updated in a long time =) I went to Europe...... and then I just didnt do anything for a while after I came from that. ooooo I decided to start dating updates, hmmmmm lol, anyways, I put up pictures I took with my web camera (it would take forever to scan and i dont have a scanner heh) of all the five iron and bs2 booklets and CDs and junk, I dunno, I was always looking for this before I had the CDs, and so I thought it might be helpful to someone. So thats in discography, and I am also putting up a song list for Cheeses, K! byeeeeeeeee
Keith just sent out an e-mail you can see here. Its not really anything new, just talking about Cheeses and reminding us all to go get it =D lol He said that it would help for us to all get it in the first week if we can afford it, dont know why but it probably makes some sort of difference. Anywho, hope you all enjoy the new album, I'm gonna be getting it some time soon.....

Newest info off the Five Iron website:
We have officially decided that the name of the last FIF album will be "The End Is Near." This is the album we are in the studio recording right now, and it should come out around June 18, but it will ONLY be available at our shows for quite some time. We've been working hard on this CD and I think there is no question that it will be our best. The songs are coming together really well, and we are very excited about them. Douglas TenNapel will be doing the art work, he is the person who has done the work for several of our albums. He also recently came out with a really rad graphic novel called "Creature Tech," which is awesome. If you like comics, you should check it out. (Disclaimer: some of the language might bother some people).

Again, you can find almost all this same stuff on five iron's web site, in the news section, and I dont really know why I am repeating everything here. Maybe its cause I think i am doing some poor soul some good our there, some random person who thinks five iron's web site is evil and will not go to it, cause they are completely insane, and need to be put in a locked box with only dan's fruity snacks to eat for the rest of their life. That MUST be why.

Well it wasnt really hard to find though.... ahem, but too bad for you!! mwa haha, here it is.... you can see some Douglas TenNapel stuff at his website. This guy is pretty cool! I like his style. And no, i will not critique his work, being an art major and all, I KNOW thats what you were thinking!!
