The first person listed is my father, this is his chart. He is number 1. His father is number 2 and his mother is two times his number plus 1, or 3. His paternal grandfather is 2 times his father's number or 4, and his paternal grandmother is 2 times his father's number plus 1 or 5. His maternal grandfather is twice his mothers number or 6, and his maternal grandmother is twice his mother's number plus 1 or 7. Look at the last names if you are confused. The men all have even numbers after the first generation and their spouses are always the next number. As you go down the list there will be more and more numbers missing.
