
Everett Nicholas Reede
1919-1944
Everett was an airplane mechanic in Dearborn, Michigan, married to Lillian Butkiss. He wanted to fly and enlistedin the Air Corps in July 1942. He had his nine week training at Garden City Army Air Field, class of 44-A learning to fly a BT 13-A. His next stop was Pampa Army Air Field, where he graduated January 7, 1944.
Two weeks later he was killed in a plane crash twenty miles north of Perryton, Texas.
