Canada's
newest, hottest pop group were formed through the hugely successful
television show Popstars, where they became instant popstar
icons. The five members of the group Sahara MacDonald,
Julie Crochetierre, Mirella Dell'Aquila, Andrea Henry, and Maiko
Watson were chosen as the best from thousands of popstar
wannabes, and each bring their own talent and soulful voices to
the group. Their debut CD, which has since gone platinum
showcases their R&B leanings and features Toya Alexis,
previous contestant of Popstars, who the group asked to guest
vocal on the track "I Got U" and the rapping of
Soltairs on the "Days Like That (baby silver refix)".
Sugar Jones released the hit singles "Days Like That"
and "How Much Longer" that quickly soared up the
charts and are currently touring throughout Canada and joining
the American superstars Destinys Child. |
