About Me

 

When the world was celebrating the new year on that bright and wonderful day of January 1, 1970, I was born as the second child to my parents and as the only girl in the family. I have two brothers and I'm placed in between them.

I was born in Cannoor (where my mom was employed at that time) situated in the northern part of the state, which is one among the 14 districts of Kerala in South India. A year later, my family moved back to Trivandrum, the capital city of Kerala, where my family lived since. My childhood was in the sorrounding areas of Trivandrum with lots of kids of my age. The days were filled with fun, laughter and play.

My Schooling was in "Cotton Hill Girl's High School Trivandrum" which is the biggest in the Kerala State. I did my Pre-Degree from Women's College Trivandrum and Bachelor's Degree in History from All Saint's College Trivandrum. Took M.A in History in 1995 and M.A in Political Science in 1998.

Well, my favourite dream has always been(and still....(well...not anymore..(2005))..going to America and settle down there... my favorite country. But things don't always happen the way you dream. And you will be surprised at the turn of events too.... Look at the way things turned around for me!!!!!!! All of a sudden I'm in a country, which, I've always thought the very last choice in my list. Yes...I'm in Germany now, 'cause I got married to a German and moved to this country. I landed here on 3rd of July, 2000. Now we live in Köln(Cologne). And I should admit I like it here. The experience here has been very different. Getting to know and interacting with people from different parts of the world has been really exciting and enjoyable.
