House of Lions:
This house which was in Mugla-Milas was a rare
prototype of 19th century Turkish houses.
The Bahattin Agas mansion was also called
House of Lions because of lion motives on its façade.
Unfortunately it was demolished because of lack
of maintenance. I am proud to keep it alive
through my model.
(Scale 1/50. It took 6 months to complete the
model).

A typical Turkish house in Kastamonu:
Because of the region is rich in forests, wood
and timber were widely used in Kastamonu houses. We can also see the best examples of wood
carving in this region.
In the city more than 500 wooden houses were actually
under a conservation program.
(The model of this house was completed in 4.5
months).
Village house in Ankara-Etlik.
Those kind of houses, built by wood and mud
brick, is generally used during hot summer months. Mud bricks keep houses cool during
summer. The houses does not have glass windows and instead wooden covers were used
to protect against climatic conditions.
