| Andi McGarry was born on Tyneside, England in 1962. His CV as an artist is long and varied, beginning at Gateshead Technical College in 1981 where he studied Art and Design, continuing through the University of Brighton, from which he graduated in 1984 with a BA Hons in Fine Art. |  |
He started Sun, Moon and Stars Press in 1986 to produce organic, 'unique editions' and 'livre d' artistes'. These small, handmade books have enchanted people all over Europe and beyond as Andi has exhibited his work in book fairs and art exhibitions across the continent. |

The London and Frankfurt Book Fairs, 'Del Libro Illustrado Al Libro de Artita', at the Bibliotech Municipal Bilbao, Spain and the 3rd International Artists' Book Exhibition in Oskola, Hungary are among shows where Sun, Moon and Stars books have been exhibited in the last year alone. |  |

Sun, Moon and Stars Press is also a partner with Wexford Arts Centre in the Wexford Artists' Book Exhibition. This is held in September each year in Wexford, Ireland, where Andi now lives. |

He has received many awards over the years, including most recently: Northern Arts, 'Year of the Artist' Award, 2000 and the Irish Arts Council's 'Art Flight Award' 1999 and 2000. |
