Part 3: Bali, Indonesia

A soggy, dog-eared mail found its way in from Bali on October 11th

Hello everyone,
I'm now in Bali and just so that you can have a good laugh it's absolutely chucking it down the raod outside actually looks like a river, but at least it's hot. Not like Cutters this morning when the ceiling above his bit of the bed (yes we've been having to share beds - lucky ole me) started to leak at 7am, bearing in mind we'd only arrived at 1:30 am you can imagine he wasn't too happy (I had to go onto the balcony to laugh in private). I'm at Kuta beach in Bali, it's very busy so we're going to go inland for a bit and do the beachy bit before we head to Aus where we can perfect doing the beachy bit.
Hope you are all well and enjoying work or PHD's (ha ha ha)

Hello everyone,
I don't know whether you've recieved any of the e-mails I've sent but the service over here is very bad, if there isn't a powercut then the computers crash, and the past 3 times it's taken 30mins to read 2 messages!!!! So I'm writing this before I've read anything.
Just in case you've heard on the news the trouble that's happening over here I'm fine, I wouldn't have notice as I was rolling around on my bed or sat on the toilet with Bali Belly, but there's no risk to tourists and when you understand what everythings about you have to agree with them, we didn't realise the extent of the riots until we'd been able to get out of Lovina where we were staying, we were stuck there for a couple of extra days next to the swimming pool and palm trees - damn it's a hard life.
Everything is good, we're going to try and get to Aus a couple of days early because we can't be bothered staying in Kuta (where we moved to today). I will update you all tommorrow after I've read my mails and am not in so much of a hurry to watch the Aus Wales match.
