Its première CD , Tau Ceti , released by Faunus Records/Brazil in 1995 , is the first musical work of the members of the band.

In the beginning, the band played music as a hobby , and until today only Ricardo Stuani is a professional musician - he is a classic percussionist. D’Elboux is an automotive engineer and Zé do Baixo is an archtetural student.

Until 1992, the band had been playing in pubs, when they met their producer from Faunus Records, and closed a deal for the realease of a CD. For this, they used their own material of the shows and rearranged some old compositions.

Because of some problems, the CD was released only in 1995, three years after the recordings sessions. It includes nine D’Elboux’s compositions , three individual solos of the three members of the band and an arrangement of Bach’s Toccata in D minor.

Tau Ceti had been inactive from 1993 to 1996, but D'Elboux was returned in a solo career in 97 and, now he is reorganizing TAU CETI for a future CD.
