So, did you see me?? I waved. Skooch and I were sitting about 10 rows behind the flag man and to the right at the start of the 24 Hours of Daytona. This is my 3rd year at this event and I have never seen so many people in attendance. Considering the past 2 years have involved rain and cold, it's not surprising. Even though it was warm, the wind was cold. I guess I am turning in to a wimp after living in Florida for a while. It was cool to see and hear the Panoz cars. They crank. Not only do you see and hear them, but you feel them. I got to sit in the seats that we have for the Twin 125's, they are good. We'll be able to see the entire track. Wish our Saturday and Sunday tickets were there.

It's Friday night, the eve of the 24 Hours of Daytona. This time tomorrow, they will into the 9th hour of racing. Too cool. Not long before the roar of NASCAR. The past week at work has been an interesting one. I'm getting burned out some, but the money is nice. :)

Ok. So after thinking about it, the Packers don't quite suck so bad after all. We keep forgetting that they did make it to the Super Bowl. That is better than what the Bears or the Vikings can claim. Found out today that on February 7th, Dale Earnhardt will take the first night laps at Daytona. They are plugging it as "Daytona at the Speed of Light". Should be pretty cool. He will be doing 20 laps in honor of his 20th Daytona 500. As long as the MK conversion goes well, I'm there to see it. We received our tickets for the Turn 2 Club today. We will be standing on Pit Road the morning of the Daytona 500. 2 more weeks and Vinnie and Tim will be here. :)

Bad day for the Packers. I'm sorry to say but I feel that there was a Super Bowl game and the Packers forgot to show up and play it. Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy. Now I remember why I am a warm weather fan. I'm getting ready to go to the 24 Hours of Daytona on Saturday, January 31st. Should be fun. As I stated in an earlier plan I usually hang out for about 6 to 7 hours so that I get to see the cars run in the dark.

Bad day for the Buzz Family. A friend, Butch, past away in Philly today after fighting with cancer. He will be dearly missed. Our hearts go out to Cindy and family.  :(

Too cool!!! The Packers are back in the Super Bowl for the second year straight. After growing up in Wisconsin and suffering through all those years of hardship, this is nice. Does anyone remember Bob & Brian's All My Packers??

Daytona Status... Vinnie and Tim are coming down on 02/10/97. We have tickets for the Twin 125s down in turn 1 on the top row. That should be interesting. We have tickets for the NAPA 300 and Daytona 500 in turn 2. Should be about 10 rows up. We are working with a place up in Atlanta to get all the tickets together since we only had 2 tickets to start out with and now there are 3 of us. Plus we have ordered the Turn 2 Club tickets for the Daytona 500. So, we will be standing on Pit Row Sunday morning of the 500. :) I'll update this more as things get closer. Also don't forget the 24 Hours of Daytona on January 31st and February 1st. I'll be there for the first 6 or 7 hours. Love to watch the cars run around in the dark.

Ramblings for today. I think a cool picture of Mickey Mouse would be having him face down on the road with a tire track on his back. Still wishing to buy a new Saleen Mustang. Maybe dreams do come true?? February is coming and that means Daytona. Before you know it, the week of racing overdose will be here. Can't wait.

Basically this is my area to ramble on about what is up in my little corner of the world. I started this web site because I wanted to give something back to the Internet and to learn HTML at the same time. The cool part is that I have decided to create a page for a band that I truely feel very strongly about. I never got to see STREETS live, but I have seen both Steve Walsh and Billy Greer live in Kansas.

Just to let you know, for inspiration I jam out to the band while putting this togeter. I have determined that I'm Not Alone Anymore is one of my most favorite STREETS tunes. :)

One last thing--being originally from Wisconsin--WHAT ABOUT THOSE PACKERS!!
