It has been a long week since my last .plan update. I finally am over my cold. Yuck!! I am now working on the file server team at work. I'm in the process of changing my train of thoughts from desktops to servers. Things are well so far.

Last weekend's NASCAR race was pretty good, but that darn Gordon won though. Earnhardt was sucking up the rear somewhat, but Rusty is looking good. Finishes second and is now leading the points. hhhhmmmm....

Not much else new except that I got a new lava lamp and I now have Saleen in California checking into Mustangs for me. :p

WOW!!! The Busch race and the Winston Cup race this past weekend were awesome. We were on the Superstretch for both races and really enjoyed ourselves. The only bummer to the whole weekend was catching my father's cold. It hit me hard enough so that I didn't go to work yesterday. :(

Congrats to Dale Earnhardt on winning the Daytona 500. He earned it. Also a special thanks to the race track for putting up jumbo TVs in the infield. Maybe next year they will be bigger. They were really cool.

WHEW!!! It's only Thursday and I feel that this week has been way too long. Vinnie and Tim got here on Tuesday and we have been going full steam since. Tuesday and Wednesday night we did Volusia Speedway Park. Didn't get home until after 2am each night. Tuesday night it was super cold. Must have been in the mid 30's. Wednesday night was much better. Still cold but not artic cold. There are friends down from Wisconsin, so going to the dirt track races have been fun. Lots of talk about what will be happening this coming summer up north. Got to watch Tony Stewart and Brett Hearn run on Tuesday night. Pretty cool.

Today we went to the Twin 125's. Had really good seats down in Turn 1. Only problem we had were the rednecks in front of us. Had a small chat with them, but after that, everything was ok. The races were good. I hope Kenny Schrader is doing ok. He pasted the Turn 1 wall pretty hard.

One other good thing this week. I will be ordering my Saleen Mustang in the next few days. My financial consultant, (Bunny), gave me the ok. I'll keep you informed on that as things happen.

SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY!

Needless to say, I'm very happy that racing has started up again. My wife and I went up to Daytona last night and watched Dale Earnhardt run 20 laps under the lights. The lights aren't all of the way up yet, but it still looked pretty cool. I can't wait until July when they have over 40 cars on the track at once. Yes, I do have tickets for that race. :)

And what about the Bud Shootout today. Is it just me or is Jeff Gordon a crybaby? My brother and I have decided that yes, maybe Rusty did jump the gun, but that is no call to just sit there and wait for NASCAR to throw the yellow for a false start. To me, that means I need to stand on the gas and get moving! From the various news reports that I have read this afternoon, apparently Jeff got booed pretty heavily for complaining about the start. I'm sorry but I was just glad to see that it was anyone but Jeff. :)

Found out today that our tickets for Saturday and Sunday will be here in the next couple of days. We will be in the 25th row on Saturday for the NAPA 300 and the 9th row on Sunday for the Daytona 500. We can't complain since that is higher than were we started out at. Thank God that RPM2Night is back on. I was going through withdrawal. Anyway, Tim and Vinnie are still scheduled to be here next Tuesday. Just a few more days of work and then a week off full of fun filled racing. Can't wait.
