Whoa!! Another week here and gone. It has been very busy for me. Since moving over to the file server team at work, I am now turning into a server hardware guy. Spent some really stange hours at work last week and this week doesn't look any better.
Is it just me or can we start liking Rusty Wallace and Jeremy Mayfield. I used to really dislike those 2, but for some reason, this year is different. I'm not sure what it is, but something's different.
Congrats to Mark Martin on winning this week's pole. Good race, but just not enough in the end. Maybe next week.
The weekend is here and gone. I hate when that happens. They just go by so fast. I do believe that we need to move to a 4 day work week. :)
I went to a UW-STOUT alumi get together last night with my wife. There were only a few people there, but it was pretty interesting to meet people that had been at the college before and after me. One thing that I did notice was that we all had the various bars in common.
No NASCAR race this weekend, but the CART season opener from Homestead was pretty good. Congrats to Michael Andretti on his win. His new wife is much better looking than his old one. Good choice Michael. He takes after his dear ole dad. :) Also, the BUSCH race from Nashville was cool to watch. Tough on equipment there though.
Once again, it has been a long time since I updated my plan file. Hate to say it, but it has been really damn cold down here in Florida the past few days. BUMMER....
Can you believe it? Rusty Wallace on top in the NASCAR points. Hell, next we'll be able to throw snowballs in Death Valley.
I was really glad to see Mark Martin win out in Las Vegas. It is a good start for the year for them. Now if he could just do better than last week at Atlanta. Did I tell you guys that I bought Mark's book and it is the hard cover autographed one? It is too cool. Tons of unique photos in it also.
Also, I am now a Server Person with the Mouse. I got moved over to there after Daytona. Things are well so far. Tons of hardware upgrades slated for the summer.
I also had the chance to go to Animal Kingdom last weekend. It is pretty cool. The Countdown to Extinction ride is probably the best ride on Disney property now. The Safari ride was pretty neat but the seats were to darn hard and there was no Oh Shit bar to hang on to. I have been told that that was being looked in to. We did see some wild animals wandering around during this ride so it was pretty cool like it should be. I will be going again next week so I'll update you all again after that.
