Finally.....

I have created a Memorabilia page just for the things from the Haymakers Concert in Prospect Heights, Illinois from 02/02/84. I finally got the scanned photos uploaded also. Check them out and let me know what you think. Any of them familiar??

I finally changed my counter to the Link Exchange Fast Counter. Got tired of visiting my page and not have the Geocities counter come up. Hopefully this one will work better.

Once again another week has come and gone.....

I received an email from Tim Gehrt. He hasn't forgotten about us. He is hoping to send back some things in the next week or so. Did I tell you that I sent him my KBFH STREETS CD?? Yeah..when I spoke with him a couple of weeks back he didn't have it so I sent him mine. Never know, maybe he'll autograph it and send it back when he's finished with it. :)

Another big thanks to Jim Kelly up in Illinois. I got some of his photos scanned and will be working on the pages for these in the next few days. I did get his ticket scanned from the Haymakers Concert on 02/02/84 and put it up on the Memorabilia page.

Sorry it has been so long since the last site update. I have been busy at work and yesterday one of our dogs decided to take a large bite out of my finger. He had something lodged in his mouth and I was trying to help him out. I guess his name of Worf is quite appropriate.

I'm still waiting to hear back from Tim Gehrt in regards to the questions that I sent him. Hopefully those will come back soon. Time permitting I will get the photos that were sent to me scanned this next coming week.

I have also updated my .plan file.

I received a special gift today from Jim Kelly up in Illinois. He sent me all of the photos that he and Brett Thomas took when they saw STREETS at Haymakers in Prospect Heights, IL back on 02/02/84. Needless to say, we have all seen a couple of these photos before. After I get them scanned in, you'll understand more. Jim also sent me his actual ticket from that show so that I can get it scanned in for the site. I would like to personally thank both Jim and Brett for sending me those items. Bravo Zulu to both!

I also received a couple of autograph scans from Steve Smits. Check them out in the Memorabilia page. As always Steve, THANKS! Don't forget to check out Steve's website, Kansas..A Glimpse of Home.

At this point in time I do believe that I will be going to see Kansas at the House of Blues in Orlando when they are here on April 25th. Drop me a note if you will going.

Updated the link to The People of the Southwind on the Links Page. They have moved to a new location at http://www.progrock.org/kansas/index.html Please update your bookmarks and links.

I also touched every page on this site to update some visual things. Jeez, way to many pages here already. :)

I also updated my .plan file.

Finally, I got the Fan Experiences Page up with the 2 submitted experiences. Thanks to Erik C. and Bob F. for sending them in.

Just a couple of notes/updates.

I have sent a batch of questions to Tim Gehrt. He has replied and will be answering the questions in the next few weeks. He wants to make sure that he covers everything in the questions so it will take him a while. I look at it this way, NO PROBLEM. :) Can't wait to see what he has to say.

I updated the Main Page. I moved the banners around in hopes that I won't get yelled at from GeoCities and LinkExchange. It looks better now. Thanks to Jay for the suggestion.

I have also updated my .plan file and archived the February .plans.

I'm still working on the STREETS experiences page, (meaning I have been to lazy to create the area). But never fear, hopefully this weekend.

I've been sort of slow lately....Sorry about that. To the point where I wanted to update this site last night but Geocities wouldn't let me because they were working on user tools. Tools that I use to upload my files to this area. hhmmmm......

I created a Memorabilia page and the first piece is there. Please check it out and let me know what you think. :)

Don't forget to send me your questions for Tim Gehrt. I will be sending Tim an email this week with the first set of questions.

YES!!!!! I got an email back from Tim Gehrt. I even took a chance and called him. I GOT TO CHAT WITH HIM FOR ABOUT 10-15 MINUTES!!!! Needless to say, I am excited...... Here is some of the information that Tim told me in that short time. It was DATA OVERLOAD for me. :)

Tim said that the company that he is currently working at just got started a few months back and they are working hard on getting a product out the door. He said that he would not have a problem answering any questions. So besides the ones that I have and the ones that were sent to me already, you can send some more. Drop me a note with your question(s) and I'll see what I can do. Tim did say that my History page has some errors in it and that he will help to get everything there correct. He was curious why I started the page and was wondering about the fan base. I told him that STREETS has a fan base that goes all the way around the world from the emails that I have been getting. :) He also asked about the King Biscuit release and was wondering if the CD was available all over. Once again, it seems that STREETS themselves were not aware of the King Biscuit release. One thing that he did mention, that I will be following up on, is that he has a lot of memorabilia from STREETS. He mentioned something about tapes of recordings that were never released. hhhmmm.... All in all it sounded like he was glad to see that we, STREETS FANS, are out here keeping things going. There will be much more on this subject to come in the future.

I did some more work in the King Biscuit area. All of the song pages are up with who wrote and published what. Just like the rest of the areas. Hey, Leftovertu, how's it look? :)

Some other tidbits...I have asked some of the people that have seen STREETS to write down their experiences. I have gotten a response or two on that so I will be putting up a new section for that. So, if you have a STREETS experience, drop me a note. I also got a scan of a ticket from a STREETS concert in Milwaukee, WI that I will be putting up. If you saw STREETS and still have the ticket, let's get that bad boy scanned and we'll post it here.
