Books I Have Read

• The Shining - Steven King - December 1997. I bought this book to read on the beach from the Cresent Head Newsagent. I couldn't help but think about that Simpson's Halloween episode.
• Contact - Carl Sagan - November 1997. Couldn't wait to read the book after seeing the movie. I was actually quite surprised at how many differences there were but I appreciated the greater attention to detail that the book provides. After I read the book I managed to find a copy of the script somewhere on the web, that made for an interesting read as well.
• X-Men (comics) - September, October 1997 - I borrowed about 500 X-Men comics off Becky Porteus. Awesome. Favourite X-Men include Rogue, Wolverine, Gambit, Forge, and Psylocke.
• Catch 22 - Joseph Heller August 1997 - A crazy book that somehow makes sense. A really good read - I reckon Sammy Lightfoot would appreciate this book. There was only one catch and that was catch 22.

• Star Wars - Ambush at Corellia - Roger McBride Allen June 1997
• Star Wars - Champions of the Force - Kevin J. Anderson June 1997
• Star Wars - Dark Apprentice - Kevin J. Anderson June 1997
• Star Wars - Jedi Search - Kevin J. Anderson June 1997
• Star Wars - The Last Command - Timothy Zahn June 1997
• Star Wars - Dark Force Rising - Timothy Zahn May 1997
