No school, no plays, no ABC's, 
no laughter, no singing, no climbing trees.  
No Winnie the Pooh eating honey, 
no Santa Claus, no Easter bunny.
No birthday candles, no chocolate cake, 
no gifts to open, no wishes to make.
No heart to hearts, no phone calls, 
no all night parties, no shopping at the mall.
No cheerleading, no driving a car, 
no class ring, no moon or stars.
No shooting hoops, no soccer balls, 
no touchdown passes, no school in the fall.
No sweet sixteen, no high school prom, 
no graduation day, no staying up till dawn.
No first love, no first kiss, 
no wedding day, no married bliss.
No little children of their own to love, 
no little children to kiss and hug.
No lives to live for theirs was taken...
now for them our hearts are breaking.
God bless the little souls not given a chance...
they were far too young...to miss the dance...
