Wheels
(Anderson)

Picture yourself in my eyes
Drinking in oceans of wide open skies
Driving frustrations from view
The mountains in motion, they wrap around you
Like the wheels that keep moving you on through today
Half a minute, you've gone half a mile
And you can't help but smile at the freedom you've found
Learning to fly, gliding on ground

Picture the wind in your hair
Severe as the sunshine that scorches the air
Driving towards places to find
The blur of the roadside is spinning your mind
Like the wheels that will carry you so far away
When you're wanting to go it alone
And the troubles you've known will shrink to true size
Left on their own in blue, desert skies

And the wheels, they keep moving you on through today
Half a minute, you've gone half a mile
And you can't help but smile at the freedom you've found
Learning to fly, gliding on ground
