Last time I saw Donkey they played this track and, not having heard it
before I asked them afterwards what "that track that sounded exactly
like the Fall" was called. "We don't have a song that sounds exactly
like the Fall" said Ajay..."we've been calling it "the Fall song" in
rehearsals" said Pim..."Oh yeah" said Ajay. And now they've recorded
it, and it still sounds exactly like the Fall: shuffling beats, bendy
bass, wobbly guitar line straight out of any 80's made-for-TV
detective film and incoherent, distorted shouted lyrics about
Lancaster. Donkey are still the best band on the planet.
