Elephant, Catalogue (Mock Rock) 7"
Hypntoic elastic bass, monotone vocal, distant shimmering guitar and
hefty straight beats. It's a spacey Joy Division sound that bursts
into clattering spastic life in lieu of a proper chorus before
dissolving back into the verse followed by a tribal crescendo
ending. Possibly the best single yet from Elephant, and the LP's
almost here too.
