ROBOTS & ELECTRONIC BRAINS

Jack and Jill, Fancy Birdhouse (Magnetic)

This might be by Jack and Jill, but it's got more in common with Jack and the Beanstalk. The disc is the pile of innocuous-looking beans you traded your cow for and threw into the pile of played-once CDs in the corner. But it's also the beanstalk that sprouted from the beans, worming its way up the pile so you'd play it again. And it grew and grew. And grew and grew on you, and when you reached the top there was a pot of gold in the form of an overdriven tuba leading the way through a fucking awesome cover of "Rock the Night". Seriously, this is a real grower, and you should get it.
